The Biomedical Centre’s (BMC) public relations work involves communicating scientific content – both within the scientific community and in dialogue with the wider public. The aim is to present our research in an accessible way and to raise its visibility both within the BMC and amongst the general public.
We prepare updates on current research findings, new projects and relevant topics from the BMC and share them via various channels – including our website, social media platforms and printed materials. Within the BMC, we are available to support researchers with any questions they may have regarding science communication.
As part of our commitment to promoting open and accessible science, the BMC is also active in regional public engagement. Our staff take part in events that offer insights into current research, encourage exchange with the interested public and strengthen the dialogue between science and society.
